Recreation
A local beach is easily accessible, where swimming and boating are available. Visitors enjoy kayaking, canoeing or power boating up a 2.5-mile channel called Thoroughfare that leads to the Upper Priest Lake Scenic Area, where birding is a popular activity. Beaver Creek has two trailheads, one for the 9-mile Navigation Trail that heads north, and one for the 8-mile Lakeshore Trail that heads south. Both trails offer sweeping mountain views and are enjoyed by both hikers and horseback riders. Anglers find an abundance of trout fishing in Beaver Creek and in Upper and Lower Priest Lake.
Facilities
Beaver Creek offers approximately 42 spacious, reservable campsites, including one large group site that can accommodate up to 35 guests. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and picnic tables. A boat ramp is just outside the campground entrance for boats 20 feet long or shorter.
Natural Features
The campground is situated on the shores of Priest Lake at an elevation of 2,500 feet, shaded by hemlock and cedar. Priest Lake consists of the main lake, where most water recreation takes place, and the smaller Upper Priest Lake to the north. The two lakes are divided by a narrow channel.
Nearby Attractions
Cross country skiing and snow shoeing are excellent in the Kaniksu Forest Region of Priest Lake.
What the agency tells you
SCRS & Recreation.gov policy states we will keep your reserved site until check-out time on the day after the scheduled arrival date. If you haven't occupied it at any time during this period, your reservation is null and void and will be given to first come first serve campers. Your reservation will be a no show and no refund will be given.
Extra Vehicles: One vehicle is included in your single campsite fee. Each additional vehicle will be charged a per day fee that is collected on site (cash or check only) if space is available in your site only. Additional parking may not be available.
Due to bear activity, a food storage order is now in place on the Kaniksu National Forest; food and other attractants must be stored in hard-sided vehicles except when being prepared, used or consumed

Day Use parking is NOT included in your overnight camping fee. If you choose to park in the day use, you must PAY the day use fee for the convenience of parking there.
Generators can only be run between the hours of 6 am and 10 pm and you or a member of your party must be present.
Water spigots are no longer capable for filling rv, trailers, or motorhomes. Only can fill containers you bring. If you wish to have water in a trailer, please fill at the Luby Bay dump station or some other location before heading up.
The 14 day stay limit is strictly enforced. Camping for a period longer than 14 days during any 30-consecutive day period is prohibited. If you have booked back-to-back reservations, you will be asked to cancel all days after the first 14.

Derived by CAMPANAC: the agency’s published rates for this season, $26–$52 a night, plus one $8 recreation.gov reservation fee for the booking. A weekend here means Friday and Saturday night, booked once. Optional charges (an extra vehicle, a second tent, a dump-station fee) are listed separately and aren’t in this total.
Who keeps the booking fee
The agency’s own policy text says the reservation fee and the cancellation processing fee are “retained by the reservation service contractor”, and that a campground concessionaire will decline to refund them because “they did not receive these fees”. Recreation.gov is run under contract by Booz Allen Hamilton. What share of your booking fee the contractor keeps isn’t published in any federal dataset we can read, so we print no number for it.
