The place

Canyon Forest Camp is one of several small campgrounds located along the Wild and Scenic Lostine River. The camp is a rustic facility with 3 campsites, set in the cool fir and pine tree forest. It is very popular during the summer months with local and regional campers. Canyon Forest Camp is also very popular with visitors to the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Season of use generally runs from early June to October. Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Facilities Canyon Forest Camp has 3 campsites with picnic table, fire rings and parking spaces.

Recreation.gov default: most campsites can be booked six months prior to arrival date. Most campgrounds go on sale at 7am PT / 8am MT / 10am ET, but not always; check the facility Seasons and Fees tab. Some locations also offer shorter supplemental booking windows.

Fees

Overnight Use: Single Site$10/night. Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount to Single Campsites ONLY. The discount applies only to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass holder, not to any additional fee or campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass holder's party. https://store.usgs.gov/recreational-passes Please be prepared to pay with CASH or CHECK. Single unit campsites = $10.00/night. A self-service fee station is located at the campground.
