Engineer Point is a popular day use area on beautiful Sardis Lake. The area provides boat access to the lake and picnic areas. Recreation Whether planning a one day outing or an extended camping trip, you can find a wealth of activities to fill your days and nights. Come camp in one of our modern campgrounds, picnic, swim, rent a pavilion for a family reunion or find a spot somewhere on our 98,000 acres to boat, hunt, fish, go birding, or walk a trail. Facilities Engineer Point has two boat launching ramps. There is a group picnic shelter in the area and 46 individual picnic sites. Natural Features Sardis Lake stretches over 98,000 acres of land and water through Panola, Lafayette and Marshall counties in beautiful Northwest Mississippi. Recreation.gov default: most campsites can be booked six months prior to arrival date. Most campgrounds go on sale at 7am PT / 8am MT / 10am ET, but not always; check the facility Seasons and Fees tab. Some locations also offer shorter supplemental booking windows.

Engineer Point pavilion is reservable for$100 per day. Boat Launching in the area is $5.00 per vehicle.
