The place

Fish Lake Campground is located adjacent to the picturesque Fish Lake in the Wallowa Mountains. As a high elevation campground, visitors enjoy fishing, boating, and hiking at the nearby wilderness and non-wilderness trailheads. Six of the 21 tent/trailers sites have been constructed to accommodate persons with disabilities, and 6 sites on the upper loop are available for RV's longer than 20 feet. Primary Use Season is June to September Quiet hours are 10pm to 6 am. Considerations: Mosquitos! Dropping water levels in late summer! Facilities Fish Lake Campground has 21 tent/trailer sites, each with a picnic table, fire ring and parking area.

Recreation.gov default: most campsites can be booked six months prior to arrival date. Most campgrounds go on sale at 7am PT / 8am MT / 10am ET, but not always; check the facility Seasons and Fees tab. Some locations also offer shorter supplemental booking windows.

Fees

Overnight Use: Single Site$15/night. Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount to Single Campsites ONLY. The discount applies only to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass holder, not to any additional fee or campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass holder's party. https://store.usgs.gov/recreational-passes Please be prepared to pay with CASH or CHECK. Single unit campsites = $15.00/night. A self-service fee station is located at the campground.
