Overview of Site Elevation: 2,000' feet in elevation Amenities: 10 campsites available Stream water (boil before using) Vault (non-flush) toilets- closed until further notice The trail leading to the campground is a designated National Scenic Bikeway. Fees: No camping fees here, although an Adventure Pass is required for parking outside the camp and at the trailhead. Fishing: California State fishing license required. Native trout fishing area. Catch and keep from the gate to the second bridge. Catch and release from second bridge upstream to Cogswell Reservoir. Several accessible fishing platforms provided.
Booking
Recreation.gov default: most campsites can be booked six months prior to arrival date. Most campgrounds go on sale at 7am PT / 8am MT / 10am ET, but not always; check the facility Seasons and Fees tab. Some locations also offer shorter supplemental booking windows.
