Located at the 'end of the road', this 10-unit campground allows visitors to explore the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area, Eagle Cap Wilderness and the Wild and Scenic Imnaha River from one location. The campsites are near the river with large pine and fir trees overhead. Popular activities include fishing, hiking, and horseback riding. Located adjacent to the campground is nearby Indian Crossing Trailhead. Use season is generally June through September. Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Keep reading

Who keeps the booking fee
The agency’s own policy text says the reservation fee and the cancellation processing fee are “retained by the reservation service contractor”, and that a campground concessionaire will decline to refund them because “they did not receive these fees”. Recreation.gov is run under contract by Booz Allen Hamilton. What share of your booking fee the contractor keeps isn’t published in any federal dataset we can read, so we print no number for it. Turn left off Forest Road 39 to Forest Road 3960 and go 9 miles to the end of the road to the campground; Campground entrance is across the Imnaha River bridge.
