Lost Creek Campground
The place
Please Note: This campground has no trash services. Be prepared to pack it in and pack it out by bringing your own trash bags. Lost Creek Campground is west of Encampment, WY on Wyoming Highway 70 and includes 13 small campsites (trailers under 22'), picnic tables, toilets, fire grates and trash service. Across the Highway the Baby Lakes Trail accesses the Huston Park Wilderness. Forest Road 811 provides ATV riding along the Huston Park Wilderness area boundary in the Battle Creek drainage. Highway 70 is an ideal scenic drive in summer and autumn. This site was approved for a fee change - Click here for more information
Booking
Recreation.gov default: most campsites can be booked six months prior to arrival date. Most campgrounds go on sale at 7am PT / 8am MT / 10am ET, but not always; check the facility Seasons and Fees tab. Some locations also offer shorter supplemental booking windows.
