This campground offers 29 first-come, first-served Scan & Pay campsites. Sites are best for tent camping due to unpaved roads, steep hills and short pull-ins. Although not a full-service campground, Meeker Park Overflow Campground tends to fill to capacity on weekends due to its proximity to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Keep reading
Facilities
Picnic tables, fire rings, and portable toilets are provided. There is no drinking water, electricity, hook-ups, dump stations, or showers. All campsites with a tent pad have a bear locker.

What the agency tells you
A maximum of eight people are allowed per site. RVs, trailers or other vehicles must fit on the parking spur.
Dogs must be on a hand-held leash.

Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed.
EXTRA VEHICLE FEES: One vehicle is included in your reservation. Any additional vehicles will be charged $8.00 per vehicle per night and will be collected by the camp host if you did not pay for the Extra Vehicle Add On. One vehicle consists of one camper being towed by vehicle, or any other vehicle towed behind camper. One van or one truck with camper attached counts as one vehicle. Extra vehicles must fit on the parking spur at your site.

The agency’s own policy text says the reservation fee and the cancellation processing fee are “retained by the reservation service contractor”, and that a campground concessionaire will decline to refund them because “they did not receive these fees”.
