Morgan Lake Recreation Area
The place
Whether you prefer to camp by yourself or with a group, try Morgan Lake Recreation Area for a variety of facilities for your camping pleasure off Highway 139 southeast of Long Lake. The Morgan Lake Recreation Area on the Florence District consists of 18 individual family campsites in addition to a group campsite that can handle up to 25 people. So if you like to swim, canoe, fish, picnic or enjoy being close to town, then the Morgan Lake Recreation Area is the place for you, conveniently located just 12 miles southeast of Long Lake. Booking
Recreation.gov default: most campsites can be booked six months prior to arrival date. Most campgrounds go on sale at 7am PT / 8am MT / 10am ET, but not always; check the facility Seasons and Fees tab. Some locations also offer shorter supplemental booking windows.
