Point Cedar Campground sits on the banks of DeGray Lake in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains. World-class fishing and endless water sports make the campground a popular recreation area. Keep reading
Recreation
Boating, water skiing, kayaking and other water sports are the biggest draw to the lake, and a boat ramp is provided. The lake is also stocked with a variety of game fish, including plenty of hybrid striped bass, making it an ideal area for both boat and bank fishing.
Facilities
Point Cedar provides reservable modern campsites with electric hookups and water at sites 1-42. Sites 43-62 are primitive sites. The campground comes with flush toilets, hot showers, potable water and a boat ramp. To see USACE DeGray Lake Virtual Tour, click here.
Natural Features
Degray Lake is one of the region's five Diamond Lakes, known for their crystal clear waters. The lake flows from the Caddo River in Western Arkansas and spans 13,500 surface acres.
Nearby Attractions
The DeGray Lake Resort State Park offers golf courses, tennis courts, horseback riding trails and more along the 207 miles of lake shoreline. The Ouachita National Forest and Hot Springs National Park are both located nearby.
What the agency tells you
Check-Out time is 1:00 pm and Check-In time is 3:00 pm.
During the Non-Peak season certain campsites and loops will be closed. Reservations longer than 14 days will require an approved extension. Extensions can be obtained from a ranger, or the information board located at the entrance of campground.
Camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30 consecutive day period is prohibited without the written permission of the District Commander.

If arriving more than 24 hours after the start of your reservation, call (870) 246-5501 or your reservation will be cancelled and a $20 no-show fee plus the cost of the first night's stay will be charged.
Sanitation, No dumping of household trash, gray water, rubbish, black water or any other waste material or waste liquid. All waste generated must be disposed of at the dump station or removed from the project lands.
Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.
Daily occupancy is required.
No off-road vehicles permitted.
One tent and one RV or two tents are allowed per campsite.
All pets must be penned, caged or on a 6 foot leash at all times, No Exceptions!!!
Persons bringing animals onto project lands are responsible for the proper removal and disposal of any waste produced by these animals.
Fireworks prohibited in campgrounds.
Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.

What you actually pay
Derived by CAMPANAC: the agency’s published rates for this season, $14–$24 a night, plus one $8 recreation.gov reservation fee for the booking. A weekend here means Friday and Saturday night, booked once. Optional charges (an extra vehicle, a second tent, a dump-station fee) are listed separately and aren’t in this total.
Who keeps the booking fee
The agency’s own policy text says the reservation fee and the cancellation processing fee are “retained by the reservation service contractor”, and that a campground concessionaire will decline to refund them because “they did not receive these fees”. Recreation.gov is run under contract by Booz Allen Hamilton. What share of your booking fee the contractor keeps isn’t published in any federal dataset we can read, so we print no number for it.
