The place

Silver Creek Marsh Campground is located 30 minutes south of Silver Lake, Oregon. The Silver Creek March Campground offers campsites at a popular fishing spot along Silver Creek in a beautiful forest setting. This spacious, timbered camp offers pastoral meadow and marsh views and great camping. There are 15 campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, two vault toilets, horse corrals, and potable water. You can enjoy bird watching, fishing, and hiking besides horseback riding. For horses, you’ll find large corrals with about six stalls that can accommodate 10-12 horses. On site is Silver Creek March Trailhead which provides access to the Fremont National Recreation Trail #160 – Northern Segment . You’ll find good signage on this section of the trail with mile indicators and directions. Recreation Recreation opportunities in the area include picnicking, flatwater water activities, fishing, hiking, bird watching, nature viewing. The National Recreation Trail #160 is within close proximity to the Campground. Recreation.gov default: most campsites can be booked six months prior to arrival date. Most campgrounds go on sale at 7am PT / 8am MT / 10am ET, but not always; check the facility Seasons and Fees tab. Some locations also offer shorter supplemental booking windows.

Fees

Camping$6/Night for single unit, $2/Night for extra vehicle. Payments can be made with cash or check (make checks out to USDA Forest Service) and deposited in the fee tube using provided envelope, or scan the QR code to pay by phone. Day Use: No Fee.
