Six Mile Campground
The place
Located in a saddle above the North Platte River, providing access to the North Platte River and Platte River Wilderness Area, Six Mile Gap Campground is 2 miles off Highway 230. The campground offers 9 sites - 3 of which are pull through sites. Sites offer picnic tables and fire grates. Potable water and trash services are available during summer months. Booking
Recreation.gov default: most campsites can be booked six months prior to arrival date. Most campgrounds go on sale at 7am PT / 8am MT / 10am ET, but not always; check the facility Seasons and Fees tab. Some locations also offer shorter supplemental booking windows.
