The place
Camp Near Little Spearfish Creek The Timon Campground has seven campsites located in Little Spearfish Canyon, adjacent to Little Spearfish Creek. Little Spearfish Trailhead is nearby and is a non-motorized 6-mile loop that meanders through stands of ponderosa pine, quaking aspen, and paper birch. Spectacular views of limestone cliffs are complimented by the ambiance of Little Spearfish Creek at both the campground and along the trail. Timon Campground Layout Reservations are not available for Timon Campground. Sites are available first come, first served. See the layout of the campground to find your perfect camping site. Download
Booking
Recreation.gov default: most campsites can be booked six months prior to arrival date. Most campgrounds go on sale at 7am PT / 8am MT / 10am ET, but not always; check the facility Seasons and Fees tab. Some locations also offer shorter supplemental booking windows.
