The place
The Turpin Meadow Campground is located 17-miles East of Moran Junction on the Buffalo Valley Road. It is outfitted with 14 standard campsites, 4 pull through sites, 2 double-unit vault restrooms, and 1 single-unit vault restroom. It is also equipped with corrals, hitching posts, water access, a stock tank, accessibility to bear boxes, dumpsters, and a game storage pole. There are corrals and designated places to tether stock. If camping with stock, please select a site with corrals. These sites are marked with a horseshoe symbol. Sites without stock facilities are marked with a bear paw symbol. Keep reading
Please use the corrals instead of setting up highlines, electric fences or pickets. Please use hitch rails. Do not hobble or tie stock to trees.
