The place

The Twin Lakes Campground is a small minimally developed site on the southern edge of the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area and southeast edge of the Eagle Cap Wilderness. The site is popular with visitors wanting to fish on the boardwalks along Twin Lakes, hike and relax during the summer and fall. Trail #1874, accessing the wilderness, takes off from the campground through the remnants of an old burn area. Primary Use Season is June 15 to September 30. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am. Facilities Twin Lakes CG is a small campground with 5 sites with picnic tables, fire rings and parking.

Overnight Use: Single Site$10/night. Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount to Single Campsites ONLY. The discount applies only to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass holder, not to any additional fee or campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass holder's party. https://store.usgs.gov/recreational-passes Please be prepared to pay with CASH or CHECK. Overnight campsites fees are $10/night for single family unit (tent or trailer sites). Self-service pay station on site.
