The place

West Eagle Meadow Campground is set amongst towering evergreen trees and across from wildflower covered meadows. The icy cold West Eagle Creek flows near the sites after it leaves the Eagle Cap Wilderness. The campground offers 17 sites ranging from tent/small trailer campsites to walk-in tent sites. Adjacent to the campground is a picnic area and the West Eagle Meadows Trailhead which is a combination horse camp and trailhead. Primary Use Season is June to September Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am Facilities West Eagle Campground has 17 sites, each with a picnic table, fire ring and parking space.

Recreation.gov default: most campsites can be booked six months prior to arrival date. Most campgrounds go on sale at 7am PT / 8am MT / 10am ET, but not always; check the facility Seasons and Fees tab. Some locations also offer shorter supplemental booking windows.

Fees

Overnight Use: Single Site$10/night. Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount to Single Campsites ONLY. The discount applies only to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass holder, not to any additional fee or campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass holder's party. https://store.usgs.gov/recreational-passes Please be prepared to pay with CASH or CHECK. Single unit campsites = $10.00/night. A self-service fee station is located at the campground.
