Delmoe Lake Campground and Picnic Area

Delmoe Lake Campground and Picnic area is located 15 miles from Whitehall and Butte in the Whitetail-Pipestone area, a popular destination for OHV riding. The lake is a manmade reservoir controlled by the Pipestone Water Users for irrigation near Whitehall. The campground has 25 sites for trailer and tent camping. Maximum trailer length is 32 feet. Wood is generally able to be found within the campground area. Water and restrooms are available along with garbage containers. The picnic area has tables and a boat launch primarily for fishing activities. The lake level will fluctuate during the summer season as the water is used for irrigation.
Booking
Recreation.gov default: most campsites can be booked six months prior to arrival date. Most campgrounds go on sale at 7am PT / 8am MT / 10am ET, but not always; check the facility Seasons and Fees tab. Some locations also offer shorter supplemental booking windows.
