South of Joseph, Oregon, located along beautiful Hurricane Creek, Hurricane Creek campground provides 12 campsites, three of which are accessible for people with disabilities. The campsites include 4 tent or small trailer sites and 8 tent only sites. The access road to this campground is rough and is not recommended for low clearance RVs or trailers. Season of use is typically June through September. Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Keep reading

Who keeps the booking fee
The agency’s own policy text says the reservation fee and the cancellation processing fee are “retained by the reservation service contractor”, and that a campground concessionaire will decline to refund them because “they did not receive these fees”. Recreation.gov is run under contract by Booz Allen Hamilton. What share of your booking fee the contractor keeps isn’t published in any federal dataset we can read, so we print no number for it.
