Williamson Campground is one of the larger campgrounds in the Lostine River Canyon. Situated along the Wild and Scenic Lostine River, the campground has lots of shady pine and fir trees which makes it popular for summer and fall campers. The facility offers 8 tent/trailer sites and 5 tent-only sites which are located below the campground road. Nearby attractions include Lostine Canyon and the Eagle Cap Wilderness. The primary season of use is generally June through October. Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Keep reading

Who keeps the booking fee
The agency’s own policy text says the reservation fee and the cancellation processing fee are “retained by the reservation service contractor”, and that a campground concessionaire will decline to refund them because “they did not receive these fees”. Recreation.gov is run under contract by Booz Allen Hamilton. What share of your booking fee the contractor keeps isn’t published in any federal dataset we can read, so we print no number for it.
