However, it is hike-in only from early- to mid-November to late-April through early-May due to seasonal closures of Blue Ridge Road (Forest Service Road 3N06). Lupine Campground is located 9 miles from Inspiration Point/Angeles Crest Highway (CA-2). NOTE: Blue Ridge Road (Forest Service Road 3N06) is severely overgrown and very hard to follow between Lupine Campground and Cabin Flat Campground. Campsites are first-come-first-served. Booking
Recreation.gov default: most campsites can be booked six months prior to arrival date. Most campgrounds go on sale at 7am PT / 8am MT / 10am ET, but not always; check the facility Seasons and Fees tab. Some locations also offer shorter supplemental booking windows.
