Closure Order and Map . Situated along the Gila-Pinal Scenic Route, Oak Flat campground is located in the rolling hills near Devil's Canyon. There is an abundance of large oak trees that provide natural shade. The surrounding area is known for its numerous recreation bouldering opportunities. Families and individuals like to come to this site for its natural desert beauty and rock climbing.
Booking
Recreation.gov default: most campsites can be booked six months prior to arrival date. Most campgrounds go on sale at 7am PT / 8am MT / 10am ET, but not always; check the facility Seasons and Fees tab. Some locations also offer shorter supplemental booking windows.
