Photo · U.S. Forest ServiceThe place
Located on the west side of the Chiricahuas at 6,200 ft. elevation, Sycamore Campground straddles the banks of West Turkey Creek. Turkey Creek is a small perennial stream that cascades into the campground down a series of small waterfalls and through a rocky cleft decorated with wildflowers in spring and summer. NOTE: Black bear area. Store and dispose of all food in bear-proof containers and trash bins, or keep it locked in your vehicle with windows all the way up. Download the Recreation Opportunity Guide
