The place
Wetmore Campground is one of three Wallowa-Whitman campgrounds along Highway 26, which is part of the Journey Through Time Scenic Byway. The campground offers 11 campsites for both tents and small trailers, and has three accessible campsites. Popular activities include overnight camping for visitors traveling across the state, picnicking and exploring the scenic byway. There is also an accessible, barrier-free, trail to Yellow Pine Campground. The site has been used by large groups who have had picnics on the large tables by the upper spring. Keep reading

Fees
Overnight Use: Single Site$15/night. Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount to Single Campsites ONLY. The discount applies only to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass holder, not to any additional fee or campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass holder's party. https://store.usgs.gov/recreational-passes Please be prepared to pay with CASH or CHECK. Single unit campsites = $15.00/night. A self-service fee station is located at the campground.
