The place
Stunning views of the turquoise-colored Clear Lake and 3000-year-old lava fields make this campground an ideal location. The campground sits on the south end of Clear Lake in a mix of maple, alder and Douglas fir trees. On a clear day, catch a glimpse of the Three Sisters Mountains and Mt. Washington. There are 34 campsites (31 single, 3 multiple). Sites #7 and #10 are accessible. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided. Evening nature talks are conducted at the amphitheater in the Clear Lake Day Use Area. A general store and restaurant are located at the resort next door.
