The place

This campground is one of two campgrounds located within the New Joe's bouldering area. This is a world famous bouldering area and is a major draw for the local communities. There are an abundance of activities to participate in nearby. This campground is located west of the San Rafael Swell and east of the Manti-La Sal National Forest. It is centrally located and provides ample opportunities for outdoor recreation. To the west continuing up the main road is Joe's Valley Reservoir located in the National Forest, and to the east is the San Rafael Swell. Experiences in the Swell include rock climbing, canyoneering, red rock arches, and other formations. The National Forest offers fishing and winter sports inlcuding backcountry skiing and snowmobiling. Both provide offroad experiences with varying trails for UTVs/ATVs that lead to different destinations like vistas or historical sites. Fees

This facility is first come first serve and accepts cash and check using the fee tube at the information kiosk as well as Scan & Pay to allow for credit card use. The fee is$15 per night per individual site.
